Overview
Are you the type of Developer that enjoys the challenge of building something from the ground up? Does the idea of joining a disruptive start-up in the Health Tech / Digital Health domain whet your appetite or would the prospect of joining a company where your code could help save lives men more to you? Here you will play an important role in building a product that will provide access to quality healthcare services, not only in the UK but in more challenged communities on a global scale with a rapidly growing start-up that has already secured a long term contract with one of the world’s largest healthcare service providers I am looking for experienced Developers and a Tech Lead with "Full Stack" software development skills ideally gained working with Clojure (at the backend) but will also consider candidates with experience of other backend languages such as Java or other JVM languages (typically Kotlin or Scala), Node.js, Ruby, Golang or Elixir. In addition, I am looking for experience of Hybrid / Cross Platform Mobile App development utilising NativeScript or similar such as React Native, Ionic, Cordova or Phone Gap although if you don’t have this but do have web front-end skills gained using JavaScript and are keen to learn the mobile front end skills then this also works Here you will be joining a small, highly talented development team utilising industry leading development practices including, Continuous Integration, Pair Programming, Lean Agile techniques, Infrastructure as code, Microservices and TDD etc. The current tech stack includes Clojure to write backend microservices, AWS for Infrastructure, NativeScript , Docker to run services, Terraform for infrastructure & provisioning & deployment and Kafka for asynchronous message queues but please note that specific experience of Clojure is not a pre-requisite for these roles as experience of other backend languages will be considered so long as you are happy to make the jump to Clojure; and it doesn’t matter if you haven’t worked with everything mentioned above as I am interested in speaking to any developers skilled in full stack web / mobile apps development that enjoy finding the right tools to solve a problem. These are fantastic opportunities to join a company that is truly disruptive in the Health Tech / Digital Health domain with a culture / environment that is highly creative, collaborative, transparent, non-hierarchical and refreshingly ego free.
