A fun and friendly Communications Agency are looking for a smart, approachable and articulate Office Assistant to join their lovely team This role will be integral to the smooth running of the office – a true lynchpin for their small yet successful business. The ideal Office Assistant candidate does not require previous experience as they are happy to train the right person, but the right attitude will be key; they need someone positive, upbeat with a ‘can-do’ approach to their job. You will also need to be professional and well presented as the first point of contact with clients, as well as having excellent written and spoken English (mother tongue standard essential). In terms of the tasks of the Office Assistant role, these will include: Answering the phones and taking messages Meeting and greeting clients and showing them to meeting rooms Updating holiday and absence charts Diarising individuals annual reviews Managing stationery supplies (ordering, stock management etc) Helping keep the office tidy (filing papers, watering plants etc) Book taxis and making restaurant reservations for the team Ordering key office consumables (milk, tea, tissues etc) Sorting post, visits to the post office Printing documents Helping organise team outings This is a really great opportunity for some bright, outgoing and eager to learn to work for a really nurturing and friendly company. They are a sociable bunch as well so someone with a good sense of humour is important Hours are 8am-5:30pm and salary up to £24,000.
