Overview
Badenoch Clark are delighted to be engaged in sourcing a Financial Reporting Manager for a market leading technology business in Milton Keynes. The Financial Reporting Manager will have responsibility for all aspects of financial reporting, taxation, and technical accounting issues. You will have responsibility of managing the year end and half year statutory reporting process, overseeing the preparation of tax returns, preparing the annual R&D tax claim and taking the lead on the latest technical reporting standards. The successful candidate will need to have strong financial reporting experience, be up to date with current reporting standards and be able to take full ownership of external financial and regulatory reporting, including production of the annual report and other regulatory reporting requirements. The role will also include the responsibility of liaising with Auditors, review monthly reconciliations, and have an inquisitive mind-set to resolve any queries that may arise. Due to the nature of the business and function, there will be opportunity to be able to be involved in commercial projects, both in and out of finance, so a keenness to learn and develop will be advantageous You will be… Qualified Accountant (preferably ACA/ACCA) 1-3 years post qualification experience, obtained either in practice or a recognised organisation. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IFRS reporting policy and practice. Able to demonstrate where you have built relationships with key stakeholders across the senior management team.
