Overview
The Financial Controller at a fast growth business, will take full ownership of financial and management reporting, IT systems and legal. The successful candidate will be the Number 1 in finance, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team. The role is based in Milton Keynes, with some worldwide travel. Client Details The business is a global leader in their industry - with over 40 years experience. The business is currently in a sustained period of growth and wants a team with the same, long term, ambitions they hold. The business is based in Milton Keynes, but operate around the world. Description Operate at a senior level co-coordinating and managing all financial and management accounting for the business. Reporting to and working alongside the CEO, this role will require a good level of technical experience, man management and an analytical mind. Help produce, review and analyse monthly management accounts (comprising full profit & loss account, balance sheet and cash flow with commentary. Manage accounts team to ensure timely preparation of management accounts and financial information. Reviewing and updating company forecasts and budgets Periodic and adhoc financial analysis including capacity, profitability, efficiency, productivity and pricing. Preparation of year end accounts, audit schedules, tax computation, audit management and liaison Responsibility for all compliance, VAT, employee taxes Maintain and develop IT systems and skills to meet evolving business needs Detailed cash flow modelling Profile Qualified accountant ACA, CIMA or ACCA Ideally, worked within an SME before. Business and commercial focused. Proven ability to meet and exceed targets. Energy, urgency and drive to be successful. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to travel, sometimes at short notice, anywhere in the world. Strong IT skills.
