Overview
The Company: I am currently working on behalf of an established IFA firm based in Central Leeds who are looking to add an experienced IFA Administrator to their back-office team in support of two Financial Advisers. My client provides specialist independent financial advice to recipients (and their representatives) of clinical negligence and personal injury settlements. They also provide full financial planning advice services such as pension and retirement planning. The Role: The remit here is a very broad wealth administration support role geared around supporting multiple high performing financial advisers, working in HNW circles from a technical admin support perspective. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Preparing and maintaining client files Maintain administration systems Client reviews, draft for approval by IFA Prepare new business documents Prepare information/comparisons for analysis by IFA Act as point of contact and deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties through effective communication You will support 2 Chartered consultants in a whole of market capacity and provide a high-quality service to new and existing individual clients. The role will also require you to be that technical point of contact within the back-office. The Person: The successful candidate will ideally come from an IFA/wealth management background and have exposure to supporting IFA’s/financial advisers in a private wealth environment. You will have wide-ranging knowledge in one of more of the following product areas: investments, pensions, life cover, savings/bonds/ISAs and ideally 2 years’ experience in a similar working environment.
