Children's Support Worker job, Waking Night, Flexible working, Full & Part hours Your new company We are recruiting for Waking Night Support Workers to join the team at a residential school for children & young adults with Autism based in Dorset. The support workers job is for full or part time hours with the opportunity of a temporary - permanent position. Your new role Working as a support worker you will be working as a team to provide care and support to students throughout the night. You will create a safe and caring environment and promote students to be independent. There will also be some domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry. What you'll need to succeed You must be a calm, caring and cheerful person who is passionate about working with children and young people. You must show an understanding of the specific needs within Autism. Previous experience is essential, with an understanding of Autism and challenging behaviours. You must hold a full, UK driving license.
