Overview
Robotics Engineer Salisbury Salary - DOE We are looking for a robotics engineer with hands on experience of developing robotic systems. We need someone who is comfortable using software and control to get real systems working. Responsibilities (although not limited to): Developing robot algorithms including Perception Localisation Navigation Communication Developing control algorithms for real world systems Optimisation of algorithms and control systems Taking a theoretical approach to making robots do useful things Do you have Have a Bachelor or Masters in robotics, computer science, mechatronics, mathematics or similar/equivalent Commercial or academic experience building software for robots ROS ( Framework, tools, … ) Understanding of Linux administration Proven ability to code in Python or C++ Git and Version Control Knowledge of algorithm design and optimisation Knowledge of control design and optimisation Strong aptitude for solving mathematical problems Strong research skills Experience of definition and execution of test process and test planning What we offer: A future-oriented job in a quickly growing start-up As an early employee, you will be deeply involved in the success of the Company An opportunity to influence the development of one of the most exciting companies in the UK The other bits & pieces: People with current UK and EU work visas only, please.
