Financial Accountant, (12 Month Contract) Dungannon Reed Finance has been appointed to recruit a Financial Accountant for a hugely successful, global business in County Tyrone, to cover as period of leave for 12 months with a possible extension. With an excellent reputation for staff engagement, we are seeking to attract a highly motivated qualified Accountants. Our client is ideally seeking applications from candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience. The Role Prepare monthly/annual accounts for the business; Balance sheet reconciliations on a weekly/monthly basis; Prepare detailed corporation tax analysis for Group tax Accounts on a quarterly basis;; Manage capital approval process and ensure capital appropriation controls are adhered to; Maintain fixed asset register and ensure reconciliation to the General Ledger; Assist in the preparation of Budgets on an annual basis and report on variances against budget on a monthly basis; Prepare ad-hoc financial reports; Other duties within the competency of the post holder, as directed by Management. The Person Essential Criteria Qualified accountant, preferably with at least 1-2 years’ post qualification experience; Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills; Microsoft Office experience (or equivalent), to include advanced ability with Excel; The ability to, deliver work against strict deadlines, be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes. Desirable Criteria Strong technical background, meaning practical working knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (New UK GAAP) with theoretical knowledge of International Reporting Standards being desirable; Proven ability to prepare statutory accounts; Audit and Tax experience; Financial reporting systems experience.
