Company description: Access & Integration Planning Manager – London – CP6/CAM Due to an internal promotion Murphy Group is recruiting for a Access & Integration Planning Manager to manage the team delivering the planning of access & integration to client infrastructure (CP6 & CAM) You will co-ordinate with the delivery teamsto allow works to take place safely in accordance to client standards. Job description: The Role Oversee the Business Unit’s planning team in identifying access availability including implementation through appropriate tools and systems for all project plans, where possible, to aid in the scheduling and delivery of schemes, resources and plant. Ensure the planning team continually look for most efficient access opportunities, working closely with project management team in securing engineering access & specialised key resources to programme. Ensure all client access documentation issued is reviewed and identify any changes or errors that would affect the safety and deliverability of the plan. Support the team in negotiating Murphy access requirements to meet the earliest opportunities possible as identified by the client, ensuring the identified specialised key resources are available and secured to meet this schedule. Assist the production and commercial teams in the securing of key specialised resources and manage through to delivery for all projects, including providing feedback to the project management team and procurement. Liaise with client operations teams, access & integration planning team and project management teams to ensure collaborative working relationships are maintained. Monitor performance in accordance with Murphy procedures and client standards, including the level of protection provided and the number of plans rejected or changed on site. Ensure all findings communicated and trends escalated, feeding back lessons learnt and good practices which can be shared across the group. Support submission of tender documentation, ensuring that the bid reflects the most efficient access strategy proposal and resource allocation is estimated correctly. Undertake any necessary audits per period, agreed locally, confirming works are delivered meeting Murphy procedures and client standards. Conduct Senior Management Tours (SMT) and engage with site teams to gain feedback to the Murphy procedures and software used. Close out any misconceptions and support any bright ideas to introduce into the rail business. Provide leadership and mentorship to the business unit access & integration planning team, nurturing future development of personnel to meet the business needs. Your Profile PTS, SSOW Planner, COSS/SWL/M 10 years' experience in access & integration planning. Use of access & integration planning tools (On-Trac, Possession Planning System (PPS), Green Zone Access Manager & NROL). Knowledge of therelevant sector operational rules and regulations. Experience of managing and developing teams. Operational experience of complex DE confliction management, liaising with multiple stakeholders and demonstrated successful delivery. Demonstrable relationships within route planning teams and the wider contractor community. Demonstrable knowledge of client rules and regulations and experience of monitoring the adherence to these with operations.
