If so, then WR Fundraising Recruitment has a fantastic part-time opportunity at a London centre helping those whose lives are affected by cancer. This role needs someone who can bring together a group of passionate volunteers and supporters, and drive engagement with the local community and businesses, who have historically been keen to support the work done at the centre. You will need to be highly organised, able to act as a go to person for enthusiastic supporters and a wide range of stakeholders. There is a great deal of potential within the organisation to make a huge impact, and to reinvigorate the fundraising programme alongside a new strategy. Working closely with the Chief Executive, this role will vary from organising events to working with external trust fundraisers, and forging strong partnerships with local business. In turn it is flexible around working hours, and open to ambitious fundraisers looking to take ownership over a fundraising programme. Fundraising Manager Part-Time Permanent (21 Hours Per Week) London £30,000 - £32,000 p.a. pro-rata Key responsibilities of the role will include: Leading on the delivery of an innovative fundraising strategy, building on existing income streams and identifying areas with potential for development Supporting the volunteer fundraising team, taking an active role in all aspects of the programme and guiding on best practice Taking an active role on the charity leadership team, supporting the wider strategic aims Actively engaging with the organisation’s stakeholders, providing exceptional stewardship of supporters and service users Building strong community links with individuals, organisations, and businesses in the area Undertake research on, network and build relationships with prospective partners, supporters, and service users Working with external fundraising support to ensure accuracy of information and identify opportunities for funding The ideal candidate for this role will: Have proven experience as a successful fundraiser, able to set and deliver on strategic goals Be experienced in researching, forming, managing and developing relationships with corporate partners and community organisations Be a brilliant communicator, able to work effectively with a range of service users, supporters and stakeholders Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects Be a confident relationship builder and ambassador who is proactive and self-motivated Focus on solutions, being innovative and creative to overcome challenges To register your interest and for more information please send your CV in the first instance.
