Overview
Agora Talent are partnering with a well-known multi-site hospitality business to recruit a Management Accountant, to join the team based in Shoreditch. You will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting from weekly executive reports to monthly and quarterly management accounts. You will be responsible for the annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and ongoing company financial outlook. The role also has a highly commercial focus so you will be asked to perform analytical and exploratory tasks to enable operational and strategic decision making. This is a broad and exciting role suitable for someone with a 'can-do’ attitude and ability to integrate themselves within a fast-paced driven business. Key roles & responsibilities include: Preparation of the weekly executive dashboard and weekly operational reports Sole responsibility for the company monthly management accounts including preparation of executive commentary Responsible for the company 'outlook’ (full year forecast) to enable an accurate and up to date view of the full year expected results. Preparation of the board pack including commentary. Responsibility for balance sheet accounts and prepare accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations for these accounts. Commercial analysis using various data streams to enable accurate and timely decision making at both operational and strategic levels Responsible for the preparation of the annual budgets and quarterly forecast adjustments and ensuring budget holders have accountability of their budgets on an ongoing basis. Work closely with the operations team to provide financial data that is clear and relevant and able to aid their day to day activities Involvement in new site and business ventures with P&L forecasts when required. Management of company fixed asset register and capex management. Preparation of information required for the year-end audit. All other analytical and management information required. Desired Skills and Experience: Strong excel skills (pivot tables, v look ups, sum ifs) Studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role Good organisational & prioritisation skills as well as a willingness to develop processes and structure Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset and logical approach to problem solving Strong verbal and written communication skills Focused and committed to the tasks Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to respond to unsuccessful candidates.
