Senior DevOps Engineer | Central London HQ | £70k - £95k Amazing benefits We are working with a superb tech startup in central London, a rising star within the global data intelligence sphere. Due to a newly created position, they are now on the hunt for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer with a penchant for cloud technologies and in particular AWS. Our client has a team of DevOps Engineers working simultaneously on several projects to help this rapidly scaling business perform at it’s optimum. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work with the brightest technology minds in London. Core Skills for this Senior DevOps Engineer position: Build Cloud Infrastructure components by leveraging Infrastructure as code. Develop and implement internal systems, processes, and best practices to be used by other teams designed to increase productivity. Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security and high availability in the cloud. Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and security standards. Required Technical Knowledge for this Senior DevOps Engineer role: Hands-on experience designing, building, and automating solutions utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, KMS, Route 53, Lambda, IAM, ECS and API Gateway Experience working with cloud automation tools such as Terraform. AWS CloudFormation’s experience is also a plus. Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation in tools like Jenkins/Cloud bees with scripting languages such as Groovy, Bash, Ruby, or Python Experience with automated tooling such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible Experience with Docker and container orchestration Experience with Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), automation, orchestration, trends and industry-leading cloud vendor offerings Have worked on Server Hardening Benefits on offer for this Senior DevOps Engineer role: Private healthcare Top of the range tech Remote working options up to a few days per week Regular tech event tickets Our client is offering a superb overall package with lovely culture, brilliant location and very cool product.
