Overview
Investment Executive opportunity within the Manchester office of a successful mid-market Private Equity Investment business offering excellent rewards and the chance to build a long term career within the Investment sector. THE COMPANY A Private Equity Investment firm with an enviable funding track record at mid-market level across a number of key sectors including TMT, Online Retail, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals and Business Services. The firm invests typically between £10m - £50m into innovative businesses, working closely with Management Teams on growth strategy to generate excellent long term returns on exit. THE OPPORTUNITY An opportunity now exists for an ACA Qualified Accountant with M&A / Corporate Finance transaction experience to join the team as an Investment Executive and have an impact on high-growth businesses. You will have the opportunity to work on investments across a wide range of sectors and be involved in a significant number of transactions, working with entrepreneurs both pre and post investment to support them in realising their ambitions and delivering investment returns. Responsibilities as an Investment Executive will include: Origination and evaluation of new investment opportunities Supporting the delivery of transactions including evaluation, due diligence, preparing investment proposals and financial models, deal execution etc Building strong relationships with Management Teams, Advisors and Introducers, Executive and Non-Executive Directors As an Investment Executive you can expect: Full involvement in Investments and Portfolio businesses from initial investment stage throughout growth and buy & build strategy and exit Career progression as far as Investment Director / Partner Competitive salary and benefits package including bonus earnings up to 75% of salary Participation in 'Funds Carry Scheme' on new investments THE PERSON You will be an ACA Qualified Accountant able to demonstrate: A background in Top Tier Accountancy Practice or M&A / Corporate Finance Advisory Firm At least 2 years Corporate Finance experience (Transaction Services or M&A / Lead Advisory) Experience of a full deal process If you are able to meet the above criteria and are seeking an opportunity to enter the Private Equity Investment sector please contact Alastair McLean at Lucas McLean Recruitment.
