Underwriting Operations Assistant Job Market - Insurance / Underwriting Underwriting Operations Assistant - About the role The purpose of this role is provide administrative and operational support to the Underwriting teams. Underwriting Operations Assistant - Key duties Renewing policies and attaching Pre-Bind Sanctions documents Maintenance of risk history involving organisation and filing Attaching slips & endorsements and completing UW wizard to trigger risk entry workflow (and ensuring signings are correct) Completing PBQAs and attaching these to all references Preparation and monitoring of peer review meetings Liaison with Credit control department Preparing and distributing weekly reports Assist in the maintenance, review and updates to Business Partner procedure manuals Attend meetings as required by the Business Services Manager Underwriting Operations Assistant - Key requirements Minimum 1 year general office administration experience or previous insurance administration experience Word & Excel - intermediate level Comfortable with using in-house systems GCSE Maths and English grade B or above or equivalent Minimum of 5 other GCSEs grade C or above 3 A-Levels grade C or above or equivalent
