Founded by accountants-cum-entrepreneurs from the Big-4, this tech based accounting solution is focused on working with exciting SME and scale up businesses, providing a responsive, remote business partner. With the team doubling in size in the past 12 months, coupled with 2 office moves, this is a fantastic opportunity to join this constantly evolving accountancy disruptor. Just like your clients, you'll also play a key part in this new and growing business. As part of their substantial growth, the search is on to add to the client delivery finance team. You'll likely be part-qualified from a Practice background and will bring a proactive and client focused attitude, providing a best in class service. The role Supporting the client onboarding journey Designing, building and working with data structures Streamlining processes for new clients to best in practice, leveraging technology where possible Supporting the design of rich, bespoke client management information Developing client process manuals Completing period end close procedures and preparing management accounts/information Oversight and support of junior associates Reviewing close activities e.g. reconciliations, vat returns, prepayments/accruals & journals Using and reporting from cloud accounting systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage One/Live) Preparing and/or reviewing the monthly/quarterly accounts Preparation of annual statutory accounts Preparation of consolidated information where required Key point of contact for clients, dealing with accounting queries and requests Ad-hoc work inc. developing or tracking budgets to actuals Technical support to portfolio business advisors Focus on developing strong working relationships with clients Ad-hoc work required in a start-up business Provide regular status updates to the Co-Founder's on client deliverables What's on offer?
