Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) - London - Salary to £50K £5K Car Allowance Package. Company: Our client is one of the country's largest multidisciplinary Property Consultancies. They work across a wide range of property services and are one of Europe's leading real estate managers, with approximately €40 billion in assets. Clients include, Corporations, Financial Institutions, Property Companies and Government Agencies from across the UK and Europe in the Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, Residential and Leisure sectors for Developers, Investors, Lenders and Occupiers. Requirements: The MEP team works closely with their Building Surveying teams to survey and report on the condition of Mechanical Services, which then lead into full MEP Design & Project Management. The broad mix of projects that you will work on offers opportunities of travel around the UK and Europe with exposure to a diverse range of property and project types. Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years post Grad, Mechanical Design experience from within the M&E Building Services industry and be looking to continue their technical skills whilst also developing their commercial and client facing skills. Design experience is a must but the option to learn how to undertake Mechanical Surveys and Energy Audits etc could be taught to the successful candidate. Having said that, candidates must have a proven ability to work within a team and you should be looking to work towards leading your own projects, in a client facing capacity. The ability to liaise and communicate effectively is essential, as is the ability to support and explain engineering matters to the building surveyors who you will be working with. In summary, the MEP team work as part of a property advisor team, contributing to the professional advice given to the client is respect of the investment, refurbishment, purchase or disposal of property.
