The Business Robert Half are exclusively partnered with a global music licensing business who represent the independent label sector. They cover 12% of the global music market and cover all of their artists digital licensing and streaming rights. Technology is at the heart of the business. They have multiple platforms integrated in their business and use cutting edge technology to help drive innovation. They have a team of 5 at the moment in technology in London, consisting of PHP developers, front end react developers and UX designers. This role will report directly into their CTO and an opportunity to work in an awesome, relaxed, fun culturally driven business. The Role The company are looking for an excellent Senior PHP developer. The right candidate will look to own php development in the company and be very hands on with their back end php services. Their stack is currently written in symfony but are open to migrating to a different framework, which the developer joining will have a key say in. This role will be very hands on with an opportunity to grow into head of engineering or to remain hands on and get exposure to new technology and practices. In this role, you will support in the development of new features, API's and tools that will enable the organisation to continue to scale and grow globally. There will also be some support of their legacy systems, however they'll look to migrate away from those architectures to cutting edge tech. What's On Offer The business are paying a salary dependant on skills, experience and training. The working hours for the business are 10.30 - 6.30. There will be some infrequent travel to the New York and Tokoyo office and regularly work placed perks including gigs and music events, lunches and social events.
