Job Title: Site Engineer Location: Bolton & North West Type: Perm Rates: Negotiable Salary The Company My Client is a principal contracting company who undertake Civil Engineering, Highways and Utilities projects across the North West. The company is currently growing year on year and has recently won multiple Civils & Highways projects across the UK. They have a friendly and personable team, have been trading many years and have low staff attrition Due to new projects my Client are now looking for a Works Manager to work across various sites in the North West. Job Description We are looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to be based in the North West across multiple projects. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and motivated with good communication skills and able to work independently as well as part of a team. They will also need to motivate their workforces and manage site activities closely. It is vital that they are able to demonstrate attention to detail and be able to work to deadlines, whilst liaising with site management and client’s representatives as appropriate. Key Responsibilities / Requirements: Third level qualification in Construction/Engineering/Economics (or similar). 4 year’s relevant experience with a main Civil Contractor ideally in the utilities sector. Previous employment as a Site Engineer, Senior Engineer, Section Engineer, Civil Engineer, Setting Out Engineer and Sub-Agent. Ideally previous experience on general build sector construction projects. Previous Main contractor employment & Framework contract experience High level of communication skills.
