System Analyst, SQL, Web Applications, Implementations, Basingstoke to £50,000 This leading ecommerce software house is requiring a System Analyst to join their growing team. Their software is used by high st. brands across the world, helping them manage their data efficiently. Due to growth a System Analyst is required to Configure product with Sales and Functional Consultants and engage in implementation and support of products. The System Analyst will work closely with Systems Architects, Business Analysts and System Analysts and to create sustainable, profitable revenue. Responsibilities. · Pre-Sales - engage with Pre-Sales to understand upcoming trends in the market and create sustainable, profitable revenue opportunities · Implementation - participate in technical and functional workshop arranged by the customer · Prepare functional specification documents · Participate in the implementation from configuration perspective · Engage and interact with various Product Architects to configure application to agreed requirements. · Researching and examining current application and finding out scope for improvements. · Generate and implement test scripts for unit testing the software piece. Testing and modifying systems to ensure that that they operate optimally. · Support customer during various test cycles. · Post-Sales Support customers from configuration perspective. · Participate in review meetings with Customers’ support personnel. · User training and Providing implementation support. · Responding to feedback during implementation. · Keep an eye on Upcoming technology and ensure our product is compatible with these latest technologies from configurability perspective. · Must have thorough knowledge of 3 tier and distributed architecture · Strong communication skills in English , excellent problem-solving skills with extremely creative and passionate to produce great results. · Quick Learner and willing to keep up-to-date knowledge of core competence Requirements · 2 years of professional experience working with web frameworks and applications used in optimising retail operations including but not limited to Store Executions, Store Labour optimisations. · Basic SQL writing and programming skills, with sound understanding and foundation of both relational, NoSQL and dimensional modelling techniques. Demonstrated experience in the creation of requirements and design documents · Skills to work in a rapidly-changing environment with shifting priorities, and demonstrate the ability to meet urgent operational deadlines. Skills to exercise judgement within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Skills to work independently and multi-task to meet critical deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
