Overview
Support/Care Worker Links Lodge is a small residential care home in Blackpool who are a CQC Outstanding rated service providing support for clients with a Learning Disability, Autism and other complex needs. Due to expansion our organisation is currently recruiting for a number of positions to strengthen our existing specialist staff team. Both part time and full time daytime (AM and PM) shifts are available with immediate start. We offer a competitive package including paid breaks, 28 days paid holiday, staff workplace pension and paid DBS. A pay rate of between £10.50 and £11.50 per hour will be applicable for those applicants who can fulfil our expectations. Applicants should: Be well qualified to at least NVQ2/3 Demonstrate organisational skills, flexibility and commitment Be willing to undertake any new or specific training Demonstrate the ability to deal with challenging behaviour Previous employment in a similar LD/Autism environment would be advantageous and a Portable DBS would be desirable but not essential.
