Overview
CARE to join us? We are looking for a Care Service Co-ordinator to help support our services across South Lanarkshire. Ideally you will have relevant care experience in the Homecare sector, but must be experienced in care scheduling and the management of homecare support workers. We are looking for capable and cool headed individuals who can expertly balance a number of conflicting priorities, are solutions focused, logical, analytical, highly organised, and forward thinkers. This is a highly challenging and demanding role and those most likely to succeed will be resilient, positive, confident, proactive and have excellent communication skills. We want to find people who will promote our organisational values, seek to “make it happen” and will goes the extra mile to make sure it does. You will be capable of working within a regulatory framework and seek to ensure that the highest standards of care are at the core of every aspect of our service. You must have good administrative skills, have proficient computer skills particularly in word, excel, outlook and be a great problem solver. You must be a driver and have access to a car. You will be required to work 37.5 hours on a 5/7 basis and participate in the ‘out of hours’ rota which attracts an additional allowance. As this post is considered to be Regulated Work with Vulnerable Adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scotland PVG Act 2007, successful applicants will be required to complete a PVG application.
