Overview

Eden Scott's client is an independent manufacturer providing products and services for many industries throughout the world. Due to continued growth and success they now have the requirement for a Process Engineer to join the organisation on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Operations Manager, the position will involve bringing up new production capability to allow the business to deliver singulated laser diodes on a dicing tape output format to customer specifications. Responsibilities will include: Owning and delivering improvements in selected and qualified process / equipment Working as part of the operations team to ensure timely delivery of high quality products Project manage new equipment selection and qualification Developing new processes in conjunction with development engineering and existing process engineers Ensuring engineering documentation and procedures comply with ISO9001 Taking ownership of process equipment, and report KPIs Manage and execute assigned projects Draft process documentation to allow the transfer of machinery and processes to a production environment The successful candidate will ideally be qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g. Electronics Engineering / Physics) with a strong background within semiconductor manufacturing. Experience of developing photolithography processes modules is essential, as is a proven track record in delivering high quality process capability to manufacturing environments. Experience in III-V semiconductors is highly advantageous.
