About the Reception Teacher Role As a Reception Teacher you will be taking charge of a 28-strong class of energetic Reception pupils. Your role will include working with the support of a Headteacher who understands how difficult starting in a new school can be. In general, you will be making good use of the schools facilities, which include bright, airy classrooms and making good use of a full-time TA who is an aspiring teacher.
