Overview
Bromak are recruiting for a fully qualified and highly experienced Quantity Surveyor who has worked within the Residential sector and obtains a degree in Quantity Surveying. The position will be based in Romford and will need to be able to work around the Essex & East London area The Client Our Client is an elite contracting firm with over thirty years of experience in high-end building development and refurbishment. We have worked with a wide range of clients from domestic extensions to residential developments and refurbishments, through to high spec residential new build along with commercial projects from office refurbishments through to retail, commercial repair and refurbishment projects. We also have undertaken several specialist basement construction projects, External and internal repair and decoration contracts The Role You'll be responsible for financial management across the full range of their planned works programme across East London and Essex, being given reign to oversee the contract in its entirety alongside the existing Operations Manager. The role is client facing, so building a relationship based on mutual understanding will be critical. Responsibilities: Preparing detailed breakdown of build costs for each stage of work Compiling sub-contract orders, and their subsequent issuing to contractors Carry out cost and value reconciliation on all items Oversee spend on labour allocation, and material procurement Prepare Cost Value Comparison (Profit & Loss) notes All manner of Estiamting duties from pricing initial enquiries to submitting completed tenders Qualifications & Experience Degree or HNC qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
