London , South East England Permanent, full-time An exciting opportunity to join a large and respected Shipping Line in London has arisen for 2 Marketing Analysts. The job purpose will be to perform Marketing Pricing analyst role implementing and communicating Trade Policy & objectives through day to day activities for AET. To also coordinate and Manage Europe Export Vessel Space Management in line with Trade & Policy objectives again through day to day activities. To act as Marketing Pricing Focal Point for designated regions whilst demonstrating a sound awareness of the regional commodities/markets and operational infrastructure. The role is primarily dealing with AET Trades To perform regular structural review of regions performance against target levels & follow-up on any performance deviations To work with aforementioned regions and monitor any deviations in performance. Responding to rate requests in a timely fashion whilst analysing and judging business contribution in the context of current /prospected market conditions as well as Trade & Region performance. Completing timely and accurate tender submissions demonstrating commercial awareness and sound pricing in the process. Complete regular KPI reports and follow up on any deviations. Support the European Space Management process as and when required. To represent the Marketing team at internal and external meetings. To be fully proficient with all Trade Management OPUS Modules and perform timely and accurate review and maintenance of same when and where required. To act as space management coordinator Focal point for designated region services whilst demonstrating awareness. Be responsible for Laden and Empty Space Management ensuring that respective Trade achieves the same in/out equipment flow and/or under 100% slot utilisation on Vessels as per respective Trade Policy and close in coordination with central Flow Management. Prepare daily reports which facilitate the process management and optimisation of Vessel allocations. Example, submit Container Booking Forecast to the Ship Operator. Support respective Trade Pricing Teams and Trade Policies including policies with Central Flow. The successful candidate will be from the Liner Shipping industry and have strong analytical/problem solving skills. Good MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills and have the ability to form strong working relationships.
