This is a fantastic opportunity to join an elite global law firm as a Business Development Specialist contributing expertise to managing the client, business development and marketing efforts for the Global Financial Institutions Industry Group, with a specific focus on developing relationships with the firm's Bank and Fintech clients. Notably diverse and multicultural, the Marketing and Business Development team possesses an international outlook, is collaborative and energetic and is at the forefront of the firm realising their 2020 vision of profitable growth and outstanding client relationships. The team are committed to growing and developing relationships with some of the world's most respected and well-established institutions and businesses, as well as start-ups, governments and state-owned entities. Along with colleagues across the world, especially those in communications and creative teams, you will work together to deliver significant growth across a core group of large client accounts, both in terms of global revenue and breadth of relationships. Your responsibilities as Business Development Specialist will include working with the Director of the Global Financial Institutions Industry Group to shape and drive our Global Financial Institutions Industry Group, focusing on strategic initiatives, client development, market position and brand recognition, as well as internal operations. The successful applicant will work with Client Relationship Managers to drive the implementation of client action plans for key and priority clients and support the development of key client relationships within the Global Financial Institutions Industry Group and across the Firm's global network. You will be assist in the preparation of significant cross-practice industry pitches, proposals and capability statements and conduct client, market, sector and decision-maker research and analysis as required. On the marketing side, the role holder's responsibilities will include maintaining and developing marketing collateral and supporting thought leadership efforts by monitoring industry trends and hot topics and assisting with distribution of thought leadership pieces. For this particular role, it is essential that candidates are bright graduates or equivalent with proven marketing or relevant legal experience. Creative, outgoing and collaborative, with strong research, writing, influencing and negotiating skills, the Business Development Specialist will have a track record of project managing and delivering pitches and proposals.
