Overview
We have an Estate Operative vacancy for a residential block in North London, a 5 minute walk from Tallyho North train station. As Estate op, you will take ownership of the building's internal and external cleaning along with its basic maintenance, working closely with the Property Management Company to ensure an effective service is provided to all residents. Cleaner Key Responsibilities To clean all common areas of the building to a high standard. Ensure fire exits are kept clean, secure and accessible. To inspect on a daily basis, all external and internal areas of the residential buildings and report any defects, security or Health & Safety concerns. Ensure site bin stores cleaned and clear of any items, assist site staff with removal of bins ready for collection as a weekly task on site. To enter all relevant comments/details in the diary, as necessary. Complete all daily, weekly and monthly checks in accordance with schedule of log provided. Pro-actively deal with any maintenance and cleaning problems identified within the development and regularly carry out site inspections to identify any problems and report to site staff/property management company. Ensure external entrance areas are kept clean and clear, particularly during inclement weather. Liaise with other site staff/contractors, ensuring appropriate levels of cleaning are achieved. Correct reporting of any security/Health & Safety issues, incidents and complaints. Taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency. Liaise with other site staff to use site cleaning equipment and stock control of materials To act in a courteous and helpful manner to all occupiers in addition to members of the public, other staff, guests, and to contractors employed on the development. About you You will have similar cleaner experience and be physically fit. Hours: Monday- Saturday 7am-1pm (36 hours a week) Apply with your CV today.
