Overview
Friendly law firm with a supportive culture A top 50 law firm is looking to recruit a BD Manager following on from investment and growth in the marketing and BD team. Reporting into the Head of BD you will be responsible for their M&A, Commercial Dispute Resolution and Investment Funds groups. The role will provide a wide and varied workload and the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects from firm-wide thought leadership, to BD infrastructure and best practice. It is broadly aligned to the Corporate and Dispute Resolution departments and provides coordination for all their go-to-market activities. You will have line management responsibility for one direct report a BD Executive, as well as providing general mentoring to junior members of the BD team. The role will include developing and helping to implement thought leadership and campaigns to help raise awareness of all parts of the departments and sectors. It will also support on the pitch and tender process within the firm The successful candidate will have worked within professional services, ideally legal and having knowledge of corporate and disputes would be a clear advantage. You will be able to present ideas clearly and have confidence in dealing with partners.
