Overview
Rutherford Briant are looking to recruit a Cloud Accounting Manager for an established accountancy firm based in Wanstead. To help ensure that clients receive a quality service in all aspects. Responsibilities: Manage work flow within the team/outsourcing and work closely with our bookkeeper/management accountant. Dealing with a varied client portfolio (T/O up to £5million) including OMBs, advertising, retail, construction, contractors etc. Review a wide range of accounts - Limited, sole trader, partnership, LLP’s etc. Identifying and making adjustments where necessary. Finalising accounts under the overall control of the director. Providing a management accounts service to clients to include forecasting and budgeting. Build relationships with clients with a view to being their primary point of contact for any initial accounts, tax or VAT queries. Attend client meetings on a regular basis. Liaising with HMRC in respect of VAT enquiries. Team management, identifying any training needs, ensuring cohesion amongst the team. Work with a variety of systems including - FreeAgent, Xero, IRIS, SAGE and Quickbooks. Deliver xero training to individuals and small groups. Be the Xero expert across the practice and assist colleagues in all aspects, migration, service delivery and reporting from xero. You will ideally be ACA qualified, with previous experience in reviewing accounts, but also consider ACCA or CIMA qualified.
