Overview
My client is an international market leader in a hi-tech industry supporting health and wellness in the population globally. Their Northern European head office is based close to Manchester airport and we are assisting with the recruitment of a Qualified Financial Controller on a fixed term basis - initially of a 6 month period it is likely to extend to at least 9 months. Reporting to the Finance Director and CEO you will be responsible for the day to day management of a small finance team and supporting the FD on more strategic projects. Your duties will be varied but will include:- Management of the accounting team including providing support and development Responsible and accountable for the production of the commercial commentary on the monthly management accounts for the UK & ROI Provision of Group Corporate reporting including consolidations, cashflow and M&A reporting Budgeting, forecasting and trend analysis VAT and Corporate Tax reporting and returns Balance sheet control To act as a Business Partner to the Board The successful candidate will be Qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with strong, technical accounting experience (including IFRS 15 & 16). A natural communicator and team leader you will have excellent analytical and partnering skills and also strong systems / ERP skills.
