Overview
Role: Buyer Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 Location: North Nottingham Type: Permanent Overview 2Fawcett are recruiting for a Buyer, to join a company located in North Nottingham on a Permanent Basis. This role is ultimately a progressive role where you will join as a Buyer, but within 2 years progress to Senior Buyer and build a team around you. The Role & Responsibilities of Buyer - Selecting new products and services and reviewing old ones - Finding the right suppliers - Negotiating prices - Ensuring the products are delivered on time - Helping to interpret reports and predicting future sales - Pitching ideas to senior management - Stock control - Budgeting - deliver cost reduction plans - Reacting to any changes in customer demand - Report writing and analysis of product using spreadsheets and SAP - Identifying and Implementation of optimised supply chain and systems Requirements of Buyer - Proven purchasing / supply chain background - ERP experience - ideally SAP or equivalent systems - Confident communicator - High attention to detail - Want to progress - this is a progressive role What will you get in return - Progression Plans - A brilliant place to work Type Permanent Working Hours Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm Monday - Thursday and 7.30am - 1pm on Fridays
