Overview

My client, an established business based in Southampton urgently require a credit controller on a 3 month temporary basis, the successful candidate will be offered flexible working hours and a completion bonus if targets are met. This is a fast paced role in which the credit controller will be supporting with an ongoing project, working in a large team. In order to be considered for this role you must have strong communication skills and be immediately available. Credit Control experience is desired. Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, the Credit Controller will be responsible for the following: • Check customer’s credit and approve or deny applications based on company standards and requirements • Resolving queries in an efficient and timely manner • Improve and implement debt collection processes when there are any overdue invoices or payments, and initiate legal proceedings if necessary • Setting up of terms and conditions of credit • Ensuring timely payment of debts through installing affordable and review-able payment plans What you'll need to succeed: • Qualified in or studying towards AAT / ICM / Qualification • Worked in the following roles: Credit Controller / Sales Ledger Clerk / Collections Clerk • Good telephone manner and communication skills What you will get: • Flexible working hours • Job satisfaction • Completion Bonus
