Job description In this Graduate Paralegal job, you will be responsible for the administrative duties of the wayleave process as well as assisting the law firm in its general work. Your tasks will range from collating documents for clients and conducting legal research, to updating the wayleave database and tackling ad-hoc reports. You will receive training and explanation on the process from lawyers and the client and work under their supervision - and in time, you may have the opportunity to be involved in the review and negotiation of wayleaves. Key responsibilities In this Graduate Paralegal job, your responsibilities will include: Supporting the team of transactional and commercial lawyers (i.e. non-disputes) working on commercial, corporate, employment and related matters for a wide range of clients Taking on legal research activities Entering information into the database (wayleaves for proposed sites) Tracking wayleaves through the sales process (standard and negotiated) Producing weekly status reports as well as ad-hoc reports, when requested Assisting in the development of workflow and risk management systems for clients Providing administrative support for key client accounts - matter, time and costs reporting, current matter tracking Participating in legal training events, with the opportunity to develop legal and practical knowledge Job requirements A 2.1 or above in Law and/or equivalent degree - GDL and LPC preferred Experience working in a client-facing professional environment Top written and verbal communication skills Strong eye for detail and methodical mindset Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite Benefits of the job A great starting salary of £23,000 Offices in both Moorgate and Hammersmith with the chance to work on-site with clients Provided with a dedicated mentor who will oversee your training and development Great exposure to many facets of a top law firm Huge potential for career progression and growth Looking for paralegal graduate jobs or law graduate jobs in London and want to join a highly successful law firm with offices in the heart of the city?
