Overview
AWS Engineer, Up to £40,000, Birmingham A growing platform solutions provider are looking to expand their team with a junior AWS engineer in their close knit team on the outskirts of Coventry. A key candidate will have a willingness to learn and be able to communicate effectively throughout the team. Developing and supporting our Platform Solutions technical capability covering cloud provision, managed service and bespoke platform components will be a key element in you role as well as providing technical support for our Windchill customers and providing administrative training to customers including supporting PLM delivery projects, covering a range of complex technical activities including installation, upgrade and data migration. Required Skills To undergo these responsibilities, you will need certain skills: Server admin - in particular Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019 but also potentially Linux Database admin - Oracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL Directory servers - Active Directory / OpenDS Web servers - Apache / IIS Web-based enterprise applications - should be aware of the components and architecture Backup and recovery Network infrastructure / trouble-shooting Cloud provider certifications would be advantageous - esp.
