Finance Manager (FTC 9 Months) Job Type - Permanent Package - Up to £45,000, 3% Flex Fund Life Assurance Pension car allowance Location - Salford or Leeds Working Hours - Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm Are you a Qualified Accountant looking for a new opportunity? SSCL have recently won some new and exciting contracts and could be looking for your expertise The role Working as part of a busy Finance team Business Partnering with their Government clients to provide Management Accounting. There may be some light travel for team meeting or to other SSCL sites. Who are we? Day to Day Responsibilities: Financially support/business partner the sector MD Monthly accounting adjustments/Variance analysis commentary/Forecasting Manage revenue recognition of a key client service contracts and additional project charges Manage P&L forecast updates with input from business stakeholders Develop and maintain financial models Ad Hoc financial analysis & modelling Suitable Skills: Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CIPFA, etc) Previous experience in management accounts (Forecasting/Variance analysis/Performance reporting etc) Experience in business partnering senior stakeholders Experience with Microsoft Office software particularly Excel, Word, Power Point Flexible and adaptable to cope with a fast paced environment in a large organisation Reasons why you should join us: We’re big, really big.
