Title - Assistant Finance Manager Job Type - Permanent Package - Up to £35,000, 3% Flex Fund Life Assurance Pension Location - Salford or Leeds Working Hours - Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm The role Are you a Part Qualified Accountant or a Finance Graduate looking for a new opportunity? We have an enviable track record in the design and delivery of large scale business support solutions including HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Procurement and Administration for our long list of clients including The Department for Work and Pensions, Environment Agency Department for Education, Ministry of Justice, Met Police and the Home Office. Day to Day Responsibilities: Monthly accounting adjustments/Variance analysis commentary/Forecasting Update financial P&L models Assist in P&L forecasting and budget setting process Attend regular meetings with Finance Manager and key operational leads to review performance Develop and maintain financial models Ad Hoc financial analysis & modelling Suitable Skills: Part-Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CIPFA, etc) or AAT Qualified with plans to take further qualifications Be educated to a degree level (Minimum grade required 2.1) Previous experience in management accounts (Forecasting/Variance analysis/Performance reporting etc) Motivated, driven and keen to progress career Experience with Microsoft Office software particularly Excel, Word, Power Point Flexible and adaptable to cope with a fast paced environment in a large organisation Reasons why you should join us: We’re big, really big.
