The role will be varied and involve working with vulnerable people in their homes or temporary accommodation to prevent homelessness and develop skills needed to maintain their tenancies, change negative behaviour, maintain their health and wellbeing, progress to independent living and make appropriate decisions. The full time salary for this post is £19,547 per annum. For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for. How can I make a difference? The role will be varied and involve providing support, leadership and inspiration to young adults to better their lives and make positive choices. You will: Work with people to truly make a difference in their life Use your skills and talents to engage with people Support people to achieve their potential Develop your networking skills by working in partnership with external agencies Work between our other service in Ystradgynlais if required. Who are we looking for? To be a great Support Worker, you dont always need previous experience or qualifications. A good understanding of housing related support and welfare benefits or awareness of issues faced by people at risk of homelessness would be extremely useful in the role.
