Overview
We have just been asked to find an experienced Technical Solutions Analyst to join the Bristol operation of a thriving UK client. With strong Windows systems and infrastructure knowledge you will act as an experienced technical authority and escalation channel for technical queries. The Technical Solutions Analyst will have a strong customer service orientation and keen interest in project related work. This is a predominantly project based role and ideally your knowledge will span as much of the Windows Server, SQL, Networking and SharePoint technology range as possible. As an important part of this prominent organisation, the Technical Solutions Analyst will have a broad remit rather than a narrow focus, and you will need to be able to balance a varied workload successfully. Your will be a key member of the project team responsible for the design and implementation of fresh systems used across this large business. You will also be relied upon to proactively identify potential areas for improvement of systems that are negatively impacting business performance and risk. Self motivation is therefore paramount, as is the need to be a real team player. The successful Technical Solutions Analyst will be able to evaluate and troubleshoot the needs of the business, as well as to provide 3rd line support to the Service Desk where required. The Technical Solutions Analyst will possess significant experience of the contemporary Windows technology stack, and ideally have a strong awareness of networking principles and hardware. SharePoint and SQL are also highly advantageous skills for this environment. VMware and SAN expertise is also desirable but not essential for this role. Awareness of the ITIL framework and principles also beneficial but not expected. Key skills for this role include; Windows Server Cloud Technologies Active Directory SharePoint SQL Preferred skills include; SAN Virtualisation / VMware MS Exchange Networking High levels of customer service Our client is an Investor in People and are well respected in their field with a national presence.
