Job Title: Trainee Investment Manager Industry: Financial Services Location: Exeter, Devon Salary: £19,000 Reference Number: 14625 Job Description: Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Investment Manager in Exeter to join an Investment Management firm. There will be a very clear pathway in terms of training and progression for you as a Trainee Investment Manager. This firm has an excellent reputation for the support, development and direction they give in order for their employees to succeed, and, over time this will allow you to become a successful Private Client Investment Manager. Within this role you will provide support and assistance to the team, whilst learning and developing yourself in the firm and industry with duties and responsibilities changing over time. However, below is a list of the key areas of responsibilities you can expect. To become an effective and willing team member. To learn and understand the systems and processes used. To learn and understand all levels of administration required for the team and identify ways of improving efficiency. To learn and understand all aspects of opening and maintaining client accounts. Liaison with clients, registrars, intermediaries, etc. To learn and understand the products and services our clients provides to its clients. To become commercially astute. To study for and successfully complete the CISI IAD (L4) within six months of joining. To study for and successfully complete the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager (L7) qualification within a further 30-month period (three years from joining).
