How you’ll make an impact … The Verticals Lead is an exciting new role at Xero at what is a critical phase in our growth journey. Reporting into the Head of Partner Sales (Verticals & Networks, UK & EMEA), you will be responsible for developing Xeros vertical propositions for our teams to take out to our Partners through building clear and compelling insights to help inspire and inform the business about vertical strategy for the UK & EMEA business The Verticals Lead will be tasked with developing ways that we can take our offering to specific vertical sectors that are serviced by our accounting partners. You will help to ensure that our go-to-market activity focuses on driving adoption of Xero in key vertical sectors. The role draws on experience of the UK accounting marketplace and a knowledge of how Xero can be utilised for different client types. You’ll be a problem solver who will thrive on learning about different industry sectors and their financial reporting requirements. What you’ll bring… 3Years in an accounting role. Knowledge of day to day operation of an Accounting Firm. Deep knowledge of accounting, an interest in the online accounting market and an understanding of processes within an accounting practice Analytical and problem solving skills bringing a practical approach to sales strategy Xero expertise and other accounting software knowledge Knowledge of specialist service lines would be advantageous A solid track record of addressing commercial opportunities and risks through innovative application of business acumen Outstanding communicator, confident presenting to large audiences and also to engage fully with small to moderate audiences We strive to create an inclusive workplace where people have the opportunity to succeed, regardless of gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital or civil partner status, race, religion or belief, disability, age or pregnancy.
