Extremely passionate about utilising the newest technologies, this company is looking for a Platform Engineer specialising in AWS technologies to assist with the expansion of their team, and organisation. They are currently leading the way within cloud usage throughout their IT team and are heavily invested in discovering the capabilities of AWS technologies, and the utility available when engineered to the highest standard. Working closely with DevOps and Architecture, you will be a key player in an autonomous environment with a hands-on impact to the success of their transformation and AWS Cloud experience. Essentials for success: Technical thought leadership across cloud technologies (Specifically AWS) Extensive experience within DevOps environment Proven record of full End-to-End solutions and project delivery within large scale operations and organisations. Experience of working with Technical Strategy for cloud technologies, closely linked to architecture teams and processes. Understanding of building future-fit infrastructure engineering capabilities, practices and squad mentality. A track record of success within this field and technology set, showing areas for growth, retained IP and Removal of key dependencies. Ability to identify growth areas or new technology improvement with the aim of building a growth mindset culture. At least 3 years working with AWS Cloud Other cloud experience (Azure / GCP) Experience in a cloud transformation process with a large organisation - from the beginning to launch. Experience of leading a team and collaborating with stakeholders and peers to build a pathway for success.
