Overview
A fantastic opportunity for an AWS DevOps Engineer has arisen to join a gaming company based in Wakefield. The organisation is in a period of huge change as well as massive growth and as such will be consolidating and improving their cloud platforms. You will lead on these improvements and work closely with the development function to understand their needs. You'll then plan and deploy suitable solutions. Much of the development is done using the LAMP stack so a strong understanding of associated technologies is essential. You'll also have experience of using other DevOps related tools such as monitoring tools (Nagios, ELK, Cloud-Watch), Source Control (GitHub, GitLab), IT Security, Puppet etc. This is a great chance to grow a growing IT team and lead on the cloud-based projects. You'll get to learn a load of specialist software/platforms which are used internally so plenty of learning to be had.
