Overview

My client is an industry leading innovative Oil and Gas company, who currently seek a Senior Project Engineer to provide technically sound engineering and commercially viable solutions to satisfy demanding customer requirements. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for planning, leading, organising and controlling design and manufacturing activities to ensure projects are executed in a timely and professional manner against safety, time, quality and cost parameters. Main Responsibilities: Assist in the review of purchase order/specifications. Attend kick off meetings with client. Assist with planning and safe delivery of all project deliverables Co-ordination of resources to ensure the procurement, documentation and delivery of products and services. Develop and maintain project and client relationships, mitigate and resolve client expectations where issues arise. Ensure all aspects of design engineering works are carried out professionally. Assist is reporting all aspects of project management against schedule and agreed deliverables. Provide and offer regular, accurate reporting. Request quotes for all parts prior to order and ensure orders are being actioned through continual discussions. Manage and develop sub-suppliers throughout the project. Maintain an up-to-date account of all orders, commercial and logistical issues Ensure EHS policies are followed at all times. The successful candidate will possess the following: HNC/D or Degree in Engineering based discipline. Excellent Project Engineering/Management background. Proficient in the use of standard IT programmes (CAD experience preferable) Knowledge of Oil and Gas technology. (Desirable) Essential skills and key competencies would also be: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Hazardous knowledge and experience. Experience of electrical and instrumentation.
