IT Infrastructure Support Specialist (Citrix XENAPP) Temporary until end of April 2020 Hertfordshire £300 per day (Umbrella comp basis) Our client a leader within the construction industry are seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist (with an emphasis on Citrix XENAPP) on a temporary basis within their head office located in Hertfordshire, WD3. The main purpose of the role will be responsibility for the 2nd and 3rd line support of Intel, Virtualisation, Storage, Backups/Archive, Data Centre environments (both internally and externally hosted). As a member of the IT Infrastructure team you will be required to combine a high level of technical skills with a clear commitment to customer service. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provides implementation and 2nd/3rd line technical support; Including planning, installation, on-going management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and decommissioning for hosting, storage, backups/Archiving, hypervisors(VMware) ,application virtualization (Citrix) and data classification and discovery platforms. Manage change within the infrastructure owned to a high standard, maximising awareness and minimising disruption to customers. Proactive handling of all related incidents and problems within the IT strategic support tools according to the IT Service Management Policy. Ensure prompt and efficient handling and resolution of related escalations to the satisfaction of IT and its customers. Manage Major Incidents to an exacting standard, always with the customer in mind. Accountability for ensuring high levels of service availability, supporting others where necessary. Provide effective, constructive liaison and communication between IT and its customers in a confident manner. Lead yourself through composure, conflict management, interpersonal savvy and personal learning.
