Overview

We are looking for an experienced, well dressed, well-spoken, presentable and professional Corporate Receptionist who will also do some administrative duties. This position is front of house for a leading US Investment firm and an integral member of the team, working alongside our Assistants. Excellent communication skills are key as well as a bright, friendly and warm personality and a can-do attitude. This high profile investment firm is looking for a pro-active self- starter who will become a responsible and valued member of the team. Man the front reception desk: Meet and greet guests and be ambassadorial Liaise with the main reception and security on admitting visitors Handle calls on the Polycom telephone system courteously and efficiently Ensure that messages are delivered promptly Provide refreshments and deal with any other requirements of staff and visitors Responsibility for the meeting rooms, that they are tidy and well presented, set up for meetings and booked out effectively Handle mail and deliveries: Responsible for the outgoing mail Handle the incoming mail and deliveries and ensure prompt distribution Order and distribute newspapers daily Deal any maintenance or technical issues immediately and assist with the general running of the front of house: Ensure that the communal areas are clean, tidy and well stocked Order and maintain stocks of stationery, food & drink, ink cartridge etc Keep the kitchen clean and tidy at all times Organise lunch ordering as required ie ordering spare food Oversee regular contractors/suppliers Act as a fire warden and first aider Provide an efficient administrative service, such as booking cabs & couriers: Ad hoc administrative tasks, projects and filing Administrative assistant to a couple of people as allocated including: organising calendars, booking travel, any other assistance as requested Hours: 8.45 am to 5.30 pm / 5 pm on Fridays – with flexibility ​
