Overview

Owing to ongoing departmental growth, a City-based Law Firm has a new opening for an entry-level office administrator to join their Property division who look after both residential and commercial property services. This role will sit next to and provide additional administrative support to the departmental Legal Secretary allowing the team secretary to have more capacity to support the Partners with more complex administrative functions. This is an ideal role for an individual with some exposure to working as an office administrator looking to progress in terms of being able to enhance their administrative expertise whilst gaining industry-specific knowledge relating to the legal and property sectors. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the Legal Team Secretary for the property division Manage administration across the department and office by automating and implementing daily business processes Handling client and internal queries in a professional manner. Addressing all incoming enquiries and general correspondence (emails, telephone calls) Typing, scanning, filing and archiving Building strong departmental relationships Provide administrative to the team on an ad-hoc basis and on classified matters Profile: A minimum of 12 months' office experience in an administrative capacity A strong command of English and excellent communicator Hard working with impeccable organisational, time management and problem-solving skills Meticulous presentation at all times Team player, approachable with a positive attitude Possess excellent accuracy/attention to detail Strong knowledge of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook A genuine interest in law or property University degree is preferable but not essential
