Overview
Senior Java Software Engineer - Cambridge Senior Java Software Engineer with Java development, Java 7, Hibernate, Spring, Agile and continuous deployment experience is required by a leading technology company based in central Cambridge. This role sits within a strong software development team that has multiple vacancies due to growth to their team in Cambridge. Experience of most of the following: Java 7 Experience with continuous integration and versioning control tools. Demonstrable experience of test-driven development. JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber Hibernate Spring 2.5/3 (including Spring MVC) JavaScript/AJAX jQuery Maven SQL XML/XSLT Scala The role is one of the most exciting roles on the market currently for a company that develops software that is used by some of the UK's largest companies and globally within the medical research and healthcare (meaning lots of new projects) You will be involved in design, the architecture of new software, as well as improvement of the existing software. It is very much an Agile team, lots of flexibility and autonomy in the role from a development point of view.
