Overview
A forward-thinking, Top 200 law firm in Blackburn is looking to hire a commercially minded senior family solicitor or legal executive to head up its Family Department. As the Head of Family, you will be joining an established Family Team within which you will play an active part in further developing the team and driving the department forward. In addition to overseeing the team, you will be handling your own mix of private and publicly funded cases (including divorce, finance, children law, cohabitation disputes, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements). You must be a qualified family solicitor or legal executive/FILEx with 5 years' PQE in handling a broad range of private and publicly funded family matters undertaking your own advocacy. You will likely have proven experience in supervising/mentoring colleagues and currently be in a similar role leading a team. Ideally, you will be family law accredited for domestic abuse and/or resolution. On offer is a competitive salary, likely up to c£60,000, plus bonus and a range of benefits including home working/flexible working.
