Overview
An international Lloyd's broker is looking to recruit an Account Executive/ senior Broker in their Construction division based in the City. The role would encompass all elements of a client facing Account Executive responsible for the management of international construction projects within the Energy, Power, Mining and Heavy Industry sectors. This would include: Dealing with clients, global offices, third party brokers, local cedants and lenders, lender advisers, lawyers and the insurance market in understanding their needs, creating solutions for the clients insurance needs and placing of business. Front end Slip, Endorsement, Wording production. Working with broking, accounting and client systems. Underwriting information collection and production. Understanding the global insurance industry and advising on it. Contract reviews for all contracts that have an influence on the project insurance requirements. Management of the placement of the business in line with client requirements (but not necessarily broking it - although there will be some broking required). Discussion of terms with clients and binding of terms. Passing of insurance documents to processing. Checking documents after processing and sending to client. Ongoing client servicing. Managing premium issues. New business activities and prospecting as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Executive looking to work in an established, yet growing team.
