Overview
Quantity Surveyor - Surrey/SW London - £55,000 package Our client is a leading national contractor with a Division covering Highways maintenance and capital works across the UK, in partnership with local authorities and central government. They have a need for an experienced QS to join their team in Surrey/SW London on a long standing and ongoing Highways contract. You will be providing commercial input within the frame work agreement, including: Financial and contractual performance forecasts, ensuring that business targets and KPI's are exceeded, using both schedule of rates and fixed price/lump sum. Managing sub-contractors including: Sending out enquiries, collating prices, comparing with tender, negotiation, order placement, agreement of account and payment. In addition to this you will manage and mentor staff in the surveying team. You will have: A construction Degree or equivalent experience. Experience working in delivery of highways works and maintenance projects. Experience managing and mentoring staff.
